Hosted by Kathryn: It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment, and er… add to that ever-growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone.
What I Read Last Week:
3 books in total; 2 were bad, 1 was stellar! Look out for their upcoming reviews on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
The Hazel Wood (The Hazel Wood #1) by Melissa Albert
My rating: 1/5 stars.
Stalking Jack the Ripper (Stalking Jack the Ripper #1) by Kerri Maniscalco
My rating: 2/5 stars.
Once and for All by Sarah Dessen
My rating: 4/5 stars.
What I Am Currently Reading:
I haven’t started yet, but after I finish this blog post I will begin:
Children of Blood and Bone (Legacy of Orïsha #1) by Tomi Adeyemi
Though, if I’m being honest, I find the author extremely problematic. Mainly due to her undying support for Cardi B (a toxic celebrity) and her recent controversy with Nora Roberts.
What I’ll Read Next:
This Mortal Coil (This Mortal Coil #1) by Emily Suvada
I have heard a lot of mixed reviews about the Hazel Wood so now I’m hesitant to read it… Also, have you read Saint Anything by Sarah Dessen? That is my favorite book by her. I think it’s mostly because I really related to the main character and what she was going through, but I would still 100% recommend it!

I haven’t read that one yet! I’ve read 2 other Dessen books, though.
Also, try the Hazel Wood out for yourself: just don’t have expectations for it to be in the fantasy genre!

Wow that’s ambitious. Like for every category? I love looking at the categories. I was upset that Sadie didn’t win a GR choice award. 😦

Oh no lol just from my fave categories.
And same. I’m PISSED. I hated Leah on the Offbeat.

I never read it. But I totally thought Sadie should have won. It was incredible. Not a single title I voted for won in the end. 😦
