If I Could See The First-Edition of ANY Book…| Book Blogger Hop #4

Today’s question: If you could travel back in time to purchase the first printing of a specific novel, what book would that be?

Created by Billy: Each week the “hop” will start on a Friday and end on Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.

… it would HAVE to be Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte!

I’m #NotGonnaLie, my first and only answer that popped into my head was Twilight (by Steph. Meyer). Now, I love that series, but I’m way too close in time for that to be a cool time-travel story.

So I thought… what ELSE was I obsessed with when I was 13?

Oh, yes… JANE EYRE!

In fact, I bought 2 copies. Just for the hell of it. I loved loved LOVED this story.

If I was lucky enough to be educated, I think I would have ADORED this book as a 19-year-old in the 1840s.

(I would also totally stalk the Bronte sisters and try to befriend them.)

Which book would you choose?
