Review: Eve

Eve (Eve, #1)Eve by Anna Carey

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I devoured this book in one day. I loved every second listening to it.

The dynamics were phenomenal. Something I didn’t like was how hung up Eve was to her best friend, Pip. I understand they were each other’s only family (kinda), but it seemed like Pip had the only personality between the two, and Eve was just reminiscing.

Besides that, their were several moments that could have turned Eve to have instalove with one of the boys, and I appreciate that Anna Carey wrote such an authentic teen boy’s perspective.

Utterly original. I strongly recommend. I don’t want to say much, as it may ruin the adventure. Just know that this complex world has been well thought out, and I can’t wait to read further plot twists that will be involved.

This book had many similarities to Peter Pan. There were the lost boys, Wendy, Peter, + Tink?

Shocking to see such selflessness, and it’s a cliff hanger. Typical dystopian ending, really– the whole “we’ve made it outside our dystopian world. What will happen next?” kind of thing. You get the gist.

EVERYBODY; GO READ THIS BOOK. but also, only if you feel like it…
