My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I’ve given myself to reflect on this book. I don’t know if I really want to go into an in-depth review…
MY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS BOOK:
I listened to 7/9 parts of an audiobook, then had to wait three weeks for somebody to return it from the library. I forgot a lot of plot points within that time, so I don’t think I received the optimal meaning from this book– however, overall, I enjoyed it. The writing is suuuuper pretentious. But you (hopefully) get used to it by the end.
You know what??? I don’t want to spoil it for you guys. Just know you’ll love them both and their dynamic is brilliant.
Kinda boring, but you’re here for the plot.
There wasn’t anything too original about this book’s structure, but it was still notably soothing to read. I like how this book was formed 😀
Suicide, depression, bulimia, bullying, coming-0f-age identity formation, family relationships…
Too many to quote.
This book had a realistic ending like Me Before You which I greatly appreciated. And it made me cry.
